Jillian Loh Thomas
Associate
Jillian advises a diverse range of clients in commercial real estate matters, guiding them through the full deal cycle, from initial planning to closing. Her practice spans all facets of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing. She has extensive experience representing buyers, sellers, capital partners, and developers in the purchase and sale of both improved and unimproved commercial properties. In addition, she has advised landlords and tenants in retail and office leasing transactions, as well as financial institutions, private equity firms, public and private companies, institutional investors, and property owners in secured lending arrangements.
Jillian’s work covers a broad spectrum of real estate asset classes, including multifamily, retail, office, condominiums, mixed-use developments, industrial facilities, hospitality properties, and single-family residential portfolios. She regularly negotiates and drafts contracts related to real estate transactions and commercial lending, and she has also managed the real estate components of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Before practicing law, Jillian built a successful career in the real estate industry, founding and operating her own property management company. This entrepreneurial background gives her a practical, business-oriented perspective that informs her legal strategy and allows her to deliver thoughtful, solutions-driven counsel aligned with her clients’ goals.
Outside of the office, Jillian enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and diving into the culinary world – whether experimenting with new recipes at home or seeking out local favorites while abroad.
